Anaïs Cadieux Van Vliet

Anaïs Cadieux Van Vliet coordinates the advisory committees of the Canadian Consortium on Child and Youth Trauma (CCCYT). In their role, Anaïs supports community members (particularly former youth in care and adoptive parents or family members) who contribute their expertise to guide CCCYT research and trauma-informed initiatives. Anaïs also supported the life expert committee in creating a new podcast available here. Anaïs is completing a PhD in social work at McGill University. Their research focuses on siblings' experiences and support needs in the context of family violence, while drawing on participatory research principles.
