Clémence Pentecote
IUJD
Clémence Pentecote has been a clinical and scientific project manager at the Centre d'expertise de l'Institut Universitaire Jeunes en Difficulté (IUJD) since 2014. She holds a French diploma in social work and has multidisciplinary university training in child and adolescent protection. After working for several years as a social worker in Paris and Montreal, she joined the IUJD Center of Expertise as a project manager. She is particularly involved in the deployment of the Attachment Regulation and Competence (ARC) model in youth protection units and shelters in Montreal, alongside Delphine Collin-Vezina, a researcher at McGill University. This model aims to develop complex trauma-informed practices among educational teams in order to better adapt interventions to the traumatic experiences of the children and adolescents they support. She also contributes to the development of training on working with clients with borderline personality disorder (BPD). The goal is to equip practitioners with the tools they need to provide effective and nuanced interventions to individuals with borderline personality traits or disorder. In addition, she coordinates the implementation of the “Mon enfant & moi” program, a support program for parents and practitioners who work with parents with BPD, in order to develop innovative practices to better support this clientele.
