Janis Tailly-Dion

As a former foster child, Janis has developed a great capacity for adaptation and empathy that allow her to deeply understand current issues and bring solutions and her lived experience to several committees. She has been involved in the Consortium's Lived Exepert Advisory Committee since 2022, where she participates in and contributes to the development of the podcast Beyond the System: Former Youth in Care Empowered by Experience. An ambitious young woman, she holds a degree in business administration and works as an advocacy coordinator at CARE Youth in addition to her position as marketing assistant at a publishing company. Through her involvement in projects that are close to her heart, she has contributed to the production of the play Monstres with Les Créations Unuknu and co-authored a children's book with the Société de recherche en orientation humaine (SROH).
