Lesley Britton
CPRI
Lesley Britton CYW, is a Data Planning Analyst with the Education and Learning Services department at Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI), a Branch within the Ontario Ministry of Children and Community and Social Services (MCCSS). Over the past 13-years at CPRI, Lesley has supported the intensive inpatient units with children and youth who have complex mental health challenges and worked within the Applied Research department delivering mental health assessment training across Ontario.
Lesley has been instrumental in leading the instructional design and development of CPRI’s Building a Culture of Safety Training (trauma-informed care) that has reached thousands of staff across the MCCSS. Lesley has worked hard to gain a strong working knowledge of implementing a trauma informed approach in the workplace by participating in trauma-based learning opportunities provided by The Centre of Healing and the University of British Columbia (Trauma-and Violence- Informed Care (TVIC) Foundations).
Lesley enjoys spending time on her hobby farm and taking care of the many critters who live there!
