Maude Vallières
Marie-Vincent Foundation
Maude Vallières (she/her), M.A., is a sex therapist and psychotherapist. She currently works at the Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent as a psychotherapist, where she provides individual psychotherapy services to children and adolescents who have experienced sexual violence, as well as to children exhibiting problematic sexual behaviors. Using a systemic approach, she also has the opportunity to offer parenting guidance services and collaborate with various partners involved with her clients to support them in their journey beyond therapy sessions.
As part of her duties, she works closely with the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Research Chair on sexual abuse of children, helping to bridge the gap between research and clinical intervention. Her approach focuses on building trust with young people and is based on trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).
