Dr. Julien Foundation

Myriam Hivon holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree in the same field from the Université de Montréal. With over 25 years of experience in academic and community settings, she combines scientific rigor with a strong commitment to social engagement.

Since 2014, she has been working at Fondation Dr Julien, where she currently serves as Director of Training and Research. In this role, she leads the development of training programs in community social pediatrics, contributing to the professionalization of the field and the enhancement of clinical practices.

Previously, she spent over 13 years at the Université de Montréal, working with the Canada Research Chair in Health Innovations. There, she held various roles in research, scientific communication, and coordination. Her career reflects a deep commitment to social justice, child health, and the integration of research and field-based knowledge.
