Natacha Godbout, PhD, is a Full Professor of Sexology at the Université du Québec à Montréal, clinical psychologist, and Director of TRACE – the TRAuma and CouplE research and intervention unit. Dr. Godbout's research and clinical work center on the impacts of child maltreatment on sexual, interpersonal, and psychological functioning in adulthood. One of the main functions of her research is to develop comprehensive models to understand trauma and its effects, treat its effects, and prevent its recurrence. Dr Godbout is member of CRIPCAS - The Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Intimate Relationship Problems and Sexual Abuse, EVISSA - the Sexual Violence and Health Research Team, GRIPA - the Research and Intervention Team on Mindfulness, and SCOUP - the research team on Sexuality and Couples.
