Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto

The Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CCAS), on behalf of the Catholic community, is committed to providing social services that protect children and strengthen family life. CCAS is the second largest child welfare agency in greater Toronto, and has been serving the community for more than 100 years. CCAS is mandated to provide child protection services under the legal framework of the Child and Family Services Act of Ontario, and works with community partners throughout Toronto to support children and families. CCAS investigates, assesses, and responds to concerns of abuse or neglect of a child, and also offers pastoral services to clients, foster caregivers, and staff who request spiritual and religious support.
